Charlie Brown Thanksgiving :o)

Hola, well I wasn't able to find all three parts of the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special again. I was only able to find the first one. It still works fine if anyone would like to go watch it. It's in the previous post. I did find this one though. It's one of my favorite parts of the cartoon. I just love Snoopy and Woodstock. Hope you like it. Happy Holidays. :o)

Anyway, I thought I would share it with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Hope you have an amazing Holiday. :o)

The Wedding Singer

"Hey psycho. Get out of my Van Halen tshirt before you jinx the band and they break up." Dang, that's greatness!lol It has to be one of my favorite lines out of this entire movie. Just in case you haven't watched the video I posted yet, I'm referring to the movie The Wedding Singer. I just watched it again the other night. It never gets old. I am such a child of the 80's. You might say I'm stuck in the 80's actually.lol Well, maybe not quite that bad but, I love all the cool references in this movie. There is everything from miami vice, to flock of seagulls, to Boy George in it. They even have a Delorian. Those were such awesome cars weren't they? I can't help but, wonder whatever happened to those cars but, I digress. Has anyone else seen this? If you have, what did you think of it? :o)

Where Did The Time Go?

I’m feeling so melancholy today. The holidays tend to do that to me. It’s got me reminiscing with old high school friends again and thinking about my teenage days. I wish we all hadn’t moved so far away from each other. I remember my mom telling me, back then, that those were the best years in life and that I had better enjoy them while they lasted. I think most parents tell their kids that don’t they? Of course, my teenage self had no idea what she meant back then. What do teenagers know really?lol I was too busy thinking that she obviously doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I definitely know what she meant now that I’m older though and hopefully a little wiser. All too soon real life creeps in and, the next thing you know, twenty years have gone by like a flash. You wake up one day and go what happened? I’m not really 37 already am I? Where did all these bills come from?lol Was this what I wanted for myself? I thought I was going to be a singer in a rock band, like Ann Wilson in Heart.lol Okay, now that last one probably wouldn’t have worked out but, it’s just one of those crazy things that you think you can do when you’re a kid. You think you have all the time in the world to do anything. Life goes by so darn fast doesn’t it?

It's Just Around The Corner

Thanksgiving Pictures, Images and Photos

So Halloween is over and I’m already missing it. We took down all the Halloween decorations and put them back in storage yesterday. We still haven’t found out if we won the contest or not though. I’m thinking we didn’t but, that’s okay. I was just stoked to get nominated at all. That was the first time that has ever happened. We live in a big complex and only 5 apartments were included in the contest so it’s all good. At least it is to me anyway. My fiancĂ© was a bit disappointed. He is a more competitive person, than I am, though so I know he is feeling like he could have done better.

Anyway, it’s all over now so I can’t help but start looking forward towards the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I love it for two reasons. The first is that you get to spend time with family without all the stress that comes along later with Christmas. There aren’t any worries about if you bought the right gift or not or, the more likely worry lately, if you can afford to buy gifts for everyone. The second reason, and this is my favorite, is that it’s the only day out of the year that I feel a complete and total lack of guilt about stuffing myself senseless. In between power naps that is.lol It should be especially interesting this year because we have to split the day between his family and mine. Hopefully, one day we can mix it all up but, until then we will just have to make do.

I was wondering how many, other people, out there will be celebrating numerous times on Thanksgiving? I’d love to hear all about it. :o)
